Let's compare HubSpot with a Subaru Impreza...
If you were a fan of suped-up cars but never got a round to tinting your windows, adding flashing lights and external speakers, or lowering your Subaru Impreza to make it flashier than the factory model, you’d be seriously missing out, right?
In much the same way, HubSpot’s integrations offer an already-excellent product a bigger and better CRM experience.
HubSpot is one of the best CRM suites around - there are no two ways about it. It’s powerful, flexible, ridiculously intuitive and built by the world’s leaders in inbound marketing, which makes it the perfect CRM option for one-man bands and global corporations alike.
But while HubSpot by itself is already pretty awesome, add some integrations and specialised apps to the system and you’ve created the ultimate CRM system with a whole bunch of automation that make doing business easier. If you can think it, you can almost certainly do it thanks to the plethora of integrations available on the HubSpot platform. Not sure where to begin? Here are some of our favourites.
Outgrow
Quizzes and calculators seem to be sure fire lead generators at the moment. Creating your own used to be an expensive custom job, but now with platforms like Outgrow, you can create a branded experience in just a few hours. And it integrates beautifully with HubSpot too, allowing you to capture the contact’s info, individual responses, overall results, plus plenty of essential tracking info. You can then trigger workflows and comms specific to their quiz answers! We’re currently using them with great success across all kinds of industries, have you tried our Digital Transformation Quiz yet?
PandaDoc
Forget copying, pasting and endless rewriting; PandaDoc lets you auto-populate forms with data sourced directly from your HubSpot back-end so you can close more business faster.
Proposify
If you write and present a lot of proposals, you’ll understand just how long it takes to do it well and see results. Proposify lets you create templated proposals and track the progress of each of them so you can see which parts work and which parts need more love. Track who opens your email when to see what prospects are open for business.
Seventh Sense
Email is still one of the most powerful tools of engagement but done badly it can result in a real loss of business. Seventh Sense uses your valuable engagement data that’s housed in HubSpot to help you create personalised and hyper-targeted email campaigns that are dispatched at the right time for your clients.
Databox
Everyone understands how important data is but unless it’s visible and transparent, frankly it’s useless. Databox turns your HubSpot CRM data into easy-to-read and -understand dashboards so your staff and clients can access relevant data to them at any time - and actually understand what it all says.
Hotjar
Keen to see where users click and how much of your content they actually read? Hotjar uses heatmaps to highlight exactly that, so you can get the most out of your landing pages.
CallRail
If a lot of your sales processes are carried out by phone, CallRail will help you turn those chats into quantifiable data. One of HubSpot’s top integrations for phone-based sales, CallRail will help you track and record calls, understand the purpose of a call at a glance and get source details - even if you don’t have any of that information to begin with.
ReadyTalk
If you’re sold on the power of webinars (but you have no idea where to start), ReadyTalk will make the journey much easier. ReadyTalk manages every part of the webinar process including registration, confirmation, delivery and follow-up.
Beacon
Turn your best blogs and articles into ebooks and downloadable PDFs so your prospects and customers can take something more permanent home with them. Beacon will convert your posts into ebooks quickly and seamlessly so you don’t have to do it manually.
Smartling
Use your content for international audiences without painstakingly translating it all yourself. Smartling lets create content that’s localised all over the world, without you having to be based in 12 places at once.

4 HubSpot Integrations You Probably Don’t Need Anymore
The beauty of linking a bunch of plug-ins into your CRM is that the platform becomes bigger and better than it might have been otherwise. But these days, HubSpot is already bigger and better because it has built some features into its platform that formerly required integrations:
- Chat functionality is now inbuilt and can easily be added to your website, with the ability to interact live with your customers, or to build a chatbot. With Service Hub you can also add a chatbot to your Facebook page!
- HubSpot also features a URL builder and shortener, so you can easily tag up and track your campaign links.
- When it comes to landing pages, we strongly recommend looking at those included with Marketing Hub Professional. You get a set of templates designed around your website, so you can provide a seamless experience, and of course all the data benefits of bringing people into your HubSpot ecosystem from that first landing page engagement. The reporting is awesome too. (There’s a reason why the 3rd party options are cheaper!)
- With Sales Hub Enterprise, HubSpot is now able to offer built-in electronic signing functionality too. So you can look to ditch that expensive 3rd party platform, and get your SOWs and sales contracts signed off in HubSpot.
The right set of integrations and automation is different for every business, even businesses within the same industry. Keen to make the most out of your HubSpot CRM? Book an appointment with Hype & Dexter today - we’d love to walk you through the magic of the world’s best CRM system.
